you first will have to check through Central Administration if the server configuration is complete (eg creating a Shared Service Provider). Then you have to create a SharePoint enabled web application using the Central Administration site.<br />

Ok, well I see a <b>SharedServices1 </b>under <b>Shared Services Administration</b>. &nbsp;I created a site and got the <b>Top-Level Site Successfully Created </b>notice with a url beneath the notice.<br />
<br />
Now, if I go to another computer and enter the url, I am not sent to the site. &nbsp;I instead get a <b>This page cannot be displayed</b>.<br />
<br />
Have any idea on what I missed?
