Wireless connection blues when changing Security Type
Hi,
Using Windows 7 Pro 32 bit.
I have a laptop that used to connect to a wireless router using WPA2-Personal.
I have to temporarily downgrade to a wireless router that uses WPA-Personal.
So I went ahead and changed the Security Type to WPA-Personal in the Windows connections settings, but when I try to connect, I see an "X" next to the SSID, with the message:
"The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network."

Sorry folks. I mistakenly had it as "AES", and it was "TKIP".

Tried that, and still coming up with the "X", I'm afraid.
