Rollback from Windows 8.1 Pro Preview
Hello,
On a whim, I installed Windows 8.1 preview on top of my Windows 8 installation. Now, I have upgrader's remorse and want to roll back to 8.0 without having to reformat my system. Is this possible, or am I out of luck?
Thanks,
John

There is no way to roll back, if you have old backup then you can restore it otherwise install fresh one.
Out of interest: what did not work with 8.1?

It is a pre-release and not a full release. I wanted the start button and the old fashioned program groups. There is a start button, but it really doesn't do anything more than what the Windows button does. So, it is a teaser and more of an irony than anything else.
Same problem here - it's another Microsoft bungle. A complete waste as far as I can tell. In addition, my antivirus quit working (Kapersky) and now they tell me they don't support 8.1 because it's beta. I cannot get any other antivirus installed either. What a mess!
