Where to find a book named something like "C++ and DB management for beginners"?
I am interested to getting started with databases development on Windows platform. I got stuck what to study C# or C++. If I started to learn the C#, I would get enough books/video training courses on the market on database management using ADO.NET. But I am willing to start with a native language one -C++. I have enough places in the Internet where I can get enough information on learning the basics. But when I finished with the basics I am not sure if I find any course/book on the market on how to perform ADO, ODBC, OLE DB methods of accessing and management of various databases. Could you please direct me to the right steps of studying C++ that will be enough to prepare myself for the next stage-database development using both the different technologies: ADO, ODBC, OLE DB and providers? Or please just give me a hint what should I learn in parallel with basics of C++ to prepare myself for writing programs to query and manage the various databases!
