Looking for thorough uninstall process with Mac
A long time Windows user, I'm relatively new to the Mac OS X. I'm trying to fully uninstall Kaspersky antivirus on a Mac OS X 10.7.
I'm not overly concerned about being able to fully uninstall Kaspersky, but it would be nice to have a thorough uninstall checklist for any stubborn program installed on the Mac. (Alternatively, is there a third-party program that mimics Add / Remove Programs found in Windows.) Can someone make a recommendation or point me to a good site?
I dropped the Kaspersky program file from the Application Folder.
I'm still seeing the Kaspersky icon in the Notification Center.
More troublesome, the Kaspersky virtual keyboard keeps popping up.

>There is no uninstall program built into Mac OS.
Correct, in this case, the uninstall is built into the Kaspersky program. Some software suites that install files in multiple places on your mac will come with special uninstall software or mode. I believe this is since 10.5

Will most programs for OS X have a similar uninstall tool?
