Shoretel Integration
Hi There
I'm trying to plan an integration of a new shoretel phone solution into our existing LAN/WAN. 2x sites (HQ & Remote)
In place @ HQ Site:
We have 2x sites where we will need:
I have attached a basic schematic of existing network and integrated new switches, connections, phones etc (marked with *).
I have been told traffic can be prioritised over the WAN. If so, how?
Can you confirm is this will work and what else we need to do @ the remote site in terms of vlans, dhcp etc (as there is no microsoft dhcp server there).
Thanks

Its public, but using the same ISP, so they say this will help with quality etc over VPN connections...
Guess external calls could get affected..

If this is public over the internet, you can still prioritize traffic, but you cannot guarantee it or the quality due to losing control once your data hits the Internet.
