I currently have a SBS 2011 server that is running. &nbsp;I am adding a RDS/TS to stand beside the main one. &nbsp;I have installed Windows Server 2012 and bought 8 Remote Desktop USER CALS.<br />

I guess my question is do I just install the RD role (&quot;Remote Desktop Services installation&quot;) and connect it to the other server, or does it just run via IP?<br />

I need users to be able to connect to our IP and obviously use their programs (ie outlook, accounting).<br />

Would appreciate more details on the actual installation and implementation.

Windows Server 2012 is the server version of Windows 8 and the successor to Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Server 2012 is the first version of Windows Server to have no support for Itanium-based computers since Windows NT 4.0.
