Really Stuck with 3com 5500 g switch issue

We are replacing an in house 3com phone system and ran into a huge issue today. Our internal server is no longer going to hand out dhcp info to the phones. It will continue to hand out to our computers. The dhcp server is configured as dhcp server 0 with an ip address of 192.168.0.50 and configured on all vlans. The original ip ranges for the phones were vlan 110 172.16.205.x and vlan 111 172.16.206.x range. The ip phone system is now offsite and the company has a small dhcp server internally that is going to now hand out ip addresses in the 192.168.100.x and 192.168.200.x ranges for vlan 110 and 111 phone vlans. Currently Vlan 110 vlan ip interface is set as 172.16.205.254 and 111 is set as 172.16.206.254 on the switch. The port their dhcp server is plugged into is set as a trunk port and allowing all vlans to pass. But no devices on the 110 or 111 vlans will get an address from their dhcp server. Looking for big time help on this please!

Make sure tha you enable udp-helper, check link below.. If possible post your current switch config.

Are you sure the phones aren't getting an IP address but not getting the NBX server IP?  There is a special option code in the DHCP server that needs to be configured to send the call processor IP to the phones.  It is Option code 184 I believe.

Other than that make sure UDP helper is configured on the VLAN to forward to the DHCP server and that routing is configured correctly.  You could also try manually configuring an IP on one of the phones.  Also, if the NBX was previously onsite it needs to be set up for IP operation.
