how to disabled automatic updates in VLC Media Player 2.0.7
hi I have downloaded and repackaged VLC Media Player 2.0.7.
I edited the msi with ORCA and changed the ISCHECKFORPRODUCTUPDATES to 0.
Am I right in thinking that this disables automatic updates checking?
I need to disable updates checking and installing updates automatically.
Any help in this matter will be appreciated.

The link to the ITNINJA page is broken
Also how would you create an msi with a shortcut ? Apologies i am quite new to this.
I can either use Install Shield or Admin Studio for this.
