Does the latest Adobe Acrobat pro do what Acrobat 9 Pro extended does?

A user works heavily with Adobe Acrobat 9 pro extended. Does the latest Acrobat provide all the functionality of 9 pro extended?

DO you mean does acrobat 9 pro do that same as acrobat 9 pro extended?

If so, it doesn't

extended gives more features and programs

Extended Version includes Adobe Presenter and Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES (beyond the scope of this article or my needs...)
- Convert to Flash Video only in Extended
- search and measurement tools for “geospatially-enabled PDF maps” only in Extended
- Convert CAD and 3D content to PDFs, again, only in Extended -- this is consistent with Photoshop CS3's (extended? basic? both?) ability to work with 3d and CAD files.

I know that you've already closed this question, but let me weigh in as an Adobe Certified Expert for Acrobat: The biggest difference between Acrobat Pro XI and previous versions is that LiveCycle Designer is no longer part of the package. If you are upgrading from an eligible version of Acrobat Pro to Acrobat Pro XI, Adobe will give you one free license to Designer: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/upgrade-livecycle-designer-acrobat-xi.html

Other than that, the missing pieces are the video converter and the geospacial features. The 3D features are still there, and converting AutoCAD drawings to PDF is also still supported.

You do get a bunch of new stuff with Acrobat XI (e.g. a much better MS Word/Excel exporter, which for the first time is actually usable).

Hope that helps.
