moving VMKernal port to different vswitch on ESX v4.1
I have my VMKernal port on the same vmswitch and NIC as my VMs. I want to move the VMKernal port to my other vswitch / NIC. How do I do this? Also, the vswitch/NIC I'm moving to is on a different physical switch (WAN side) that is not connected to the other physical switch.

So I guess it's okay to have two VMkernals? This will be better for I can manage on the WAN or LAN side.
Well, it is best to have only one vmkernal port per subnet, but it is not unsupported to have more than one.
Example:
VMkernal1 is used for iSCSI traffic
VMkernal2 is used for vMotion and Management

Yes, it's okay to have two VMKernels, you often have two for iSCSI see my EE Article
