Copy security access from one user to another in MS GP 10.0
Hello:
I am new GP 10.0 and I am trying to set up a user and copy the security rights of an existing user. When I looked up how to do this the instructions says I can go to Microsoft Dynamics GP menu>>Tools>>Setup>>System >>User. I did this and I entered the new user info. The instructions then say I can click on the Copy Access button. I do not have a Copy access button.
Am I missing something?
I would like to copy the access rights to sa for myself. Is this a bad idea?
Thank you.

thank you victoria_y.
I think POWERUSER would work fine for what I need. I am trying to setup my own account. I am new but will be the sysadmin. I can always use sa when needed but I wanted to create a personal account for me when I am trying to troubleshoot issues. They could be from any module so I wanted to get as much access as possible.
How would I go about giving myself the POWERUSER role? I didn't see it listed..
thanks again.

'sa' is a special user in SQL that bypasses security checks. In GP, the equivalent of this is to give the POWERUSER Security Role to a user. There is nothing wrong with giving this to your user, however, it will not give you the same SQL rights as 'sa' has. What are you trying to achieve?
