can't uninstall SQL server 2005

I am running windows server 2008 R2.  I need to uninstall the remains of my sql 2005 install, but it will just not uninstall. I went through the add/remove programs, and as you can see in the picture, and I tell it to uninstall the instance listed, but then after pressing ok and finish, the screen disappears and does nothing.

Also, with the Microsoft SQL server setup support files, it's asking for a location that I have no idea where the files are at, so that component won't uninstall either.

Any help?   Thanks...

It would appear as though SQL is required for your Acronis Backup.  Have you removed Acronis yet?

yes, I removed Acronis, so I can remove the sql server 2005, as I'm trying to install symantec backup exec, but that's failing on the sql server install.

The Setup Bootstrap folder does not exist.

I found the above article, but from the beginning, I have a mess on my hands, as I tried to run the Run "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\ARPWrapper.exe" /Remove

But the setup bootstrap folder is missing, not there.

Not sure where to go from here.
