Open Source Reporting tools

Hello All:

I am looking for some open source reporting tools. I've checked out Jasper Reports, Datavision, Pentaho, and Birt. Also, I've Googled for open source reporting software similar to Crystal, and came up with similar results, however a lot of the data, specifically which ones are best, was outdated.

So I am asking: Which are the best open source reporting tools out there? I am using MySQL and Navicat (which has a reporting tool). I like the tool from Navicat, but it's not full featured. My original thought was to produce various reports using php, but wouldn't that be like reinventing the wheel?

Thoughts?

There's a free version of Crystal Reports 2011 for the open source Eclipse IDE.

Thanks for the info, but I looked at that and was not too impressed. I don't want to use a Crystal product. I've used Crystal XI in the past and didn't like it.
