Every time I import/place an external graphic (bitmap picture) in Adobe Illustrator CS6 graphic document, it creates a link to the external graphic file by default.
Yes, I can click the embed button on the toolbar to embed the external graphic file into the current Adobe Illustrator document however, very often, I forget to do that and when I send the Illustrator document to someone else, all the links to the external graphics are broken due to the different/changed file path.

So, my question is, is it possible to set the 'Embed' external graphics option as default option/setting in Adobe Illustrator CS6, so that I don't have to remember to click the 'Embed' button every time I import an external graphic (usually bitmap images) into the Adobe Illustrator document?

Thank you.
