SBS 2011 Shared Folder Permissions
we have folder called UserShares. This folder is shared and mapped to a U:\ so that everyone can view all the user folders in this UserShares folders but they will only be able to access and open the User Folder that corresponds to their user name. Every other user folder will give them an access denied error if they try to access it.
Well this is how it used to work, but i think i broke something when i was trying to fix a specific folder permission and now every user can access every folder not just their own user folder.
Is there a way to fix this from the top level of the folder or is the best way to just go into each folder and remove Everyone and Domain\Users and then just add the specific user name into the permissions.
Thanks in advance.

But redirected folders does this exactly without you having to manually adjust anything and without having to train the users to use U instead of "My Documents".

I guess i will manually configure.
when we originally built the server we did not use the folder redirection because we did not like how the redirection was done and that it would place everything under the RedirectedFolders folder. So we are not going to change that now. Thanks though.
