Signature removes company logo and replaces with red X

We have a signature that is used for every employee and is slightly modified based on the title of the employee.  The signature has our company logo on it and again every employee has the logo.  We now have someone who no longer gets the logo, instead they receive a red x.  The red x comes in only as they are sending the message (after they hit the send button, the image changes from our logo to the red x).  The logo was created by our Marketing dept and while the employees can create the signatures they do not.  It is a part of their Outlook when they log in.  I have tried removing the signature and rebooting his machine to get the signature fresh from the server and that does not work.  I also renamed his signature folder on his local computer hoping to create a new signature folder in the hopes that it would then be resolved - no luck.  Does anyone know how to fix this??
