I followed the same command as below and also mentioned by you. the issue is , after entered the command simply certificate console screen would be displayed nothing was added in to either of the store.<br />

if possibel please try from your PC (may be eihter win7 or any test win2k8) it would help to know the issue.<br />

certmgr.exe -add MyCert.cer -s -r localMachine trustedpublisher<br />
