problem with Me reference

hey guys, could yall tell me why my labels aren't changing? i'm calling the code from within the form's modules

steps
1) open the database
2) open the form Activityflow
3) click "Go" for the record ATM-AWF-MISSINGINFO
4) Break when the msgbox pops up

arggggghh!!! i forgot to upload the database!!!! now i've changed it and it work already and so i've lost a learning opportunity = (((( sigh..

yup Christian, now the code works cause i'm calling from outside the form. crap crap crap...... arghhhhh.....

so frustrating. = (

hrmm, here is a slightly earlier version of the database, the code in the screenshot function would be the only change 99% confirmed i believe.

hrmm Christian i think the think i noticed is that i can't call the code changing the form from within its own code module. is this something that makes sense?

Hi,

unfortunately your instruction above to come to this code ends in the Select Case part where "Case 2" has no code to execute, so nothing happens when the "Go" button is clicked...

Maybe you should save a copy of the state where your db was when you ask a question and give it the id of the EE thread so you can follow the things with the version you had at that time?
