We have a problem with a SBS 2008 Server Migration to Server 2008 Standard. Because of a 3rd party software problem we are no able to complete the migration yet. The grace period of 21 days is about to shrink. I read a lot about that it is not possible to extend the period. On a MS Page i read that the grace period starts when the fsmo roles are transferred. so what if i just move all the fsmo roles back to the SBS Server. may that stop the grace period?<br />
