Your best bet is to start a new website on a topic you know a lot about, and make it a resource for others who want to learn more. Then once you have begun to establish a base of knowledge, add some affiliate marketing links from a reputable source such as Linkshare or Commission Junction or a similar outfit that provides you simple code to embed and prevents the malicious content ads from running. A light dose of Google AdSense is also a great way to gain incremental income. The real key is to have links coming to you, so do your homework, narrow down your topic and specialize in every aspect of some particular topic. Update the website regularly with fresh news or new information about the topic and do not go off-topic. Also watch out for any ads you are running which pop up in front of the content - they are simply annoying.

Hi ,

Thx for the juicy info.I am System enginner and works in Technical support for citrix, wins server and vmware and was looking of ronline work in same or any technology related online work. Can you please advise?
I don't know enough about that field.  However, this guy has a very active blog in sql http://blog.sqlauthority.com/ and over time has built up a lot of traffic and now I believe he is doing pretty well. He has courses and books.  Again, I'm sure it was not an over night thing and I seem to remember using this site as a reference for a long time.

It might be good for you to start answering questions on vmware.  https://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/VMWare/ and get used to writing.
Time investment is going to be a key, and no matter what you get involved in, it will be a long-term, delayed gratification investment of your time at best. As Padas said, maybe writing for this site will get you started toward other paid freelance writing programs - but like the get-rich-quick schemes you have already found, getting paid to write is not always worthwhile. Avoid the revenue-sharing model, for example, as it is very hard to generate enough income to pay for the electricity it takes to keep the computer on that way. One of the sites I like to write for that actually pays pretty well and is worthwhile and legitimate is http://www.demandstudios.com, but they have a rather difficult entry bar that you must pass to get accepted. Take your time and learn grammar and spelling and really put some effort into the application. This site uses paid editors to go over every article that they accept, and they will point out all of the shortcomings of anything accepted for a revision.

Additionally, you can try fiverr.com, guru.com, elance.com, odesk.com, etc.
Another is ClickBank.
I would also suggest going through the guides on http://www.webemployed.com. They have shared a number of authentic sources and have published guides on them. They also have divided them into different categories so it's easy to find the most relevant ones based on your skill.
