however the Mortgage company itself is new I am like the 400th loan they have done <br />

What you can do is work out the total cost of payments over the term and deduct from this the principal you paid. This will tell you the total cost.<br />

I am NOT an expert on this kind of thing I mean I understand the basics but I am not quite sure how this mortgage company is making there money . Is there something in a GFE that is to be looked at the closest , I know there is fees, rate, term etc. anything else that I need to look at to be sure I am not getting ripped off it some way?<br />
