You may need to install Cisco VPN client versoion 5.0.07 or newer as this is the version that has support for Windows 8 machines.<br />

If you have version 5.0.07 installed and VPN works on a different PC then make sure you have installed all the windows security updates and try again.<br />

If that does not work, we would need to have a look at the configuration of the VPN server. &nbsp;If you are not the administrator of the VPN server I would suggest contacting the person responsible for it and have them look into it.

I have a ElitePad 900 that I have installed cisco vpn on. &nbsp;I made the recommended registery change to allow the virtual adapter to work. &nbsp;I can connect with the cisco but after doing so I loose network connectivity, internet and loose the ability to use RDP. &nbsp;Thanks for any help.

Cisco VPN / Windows 8

A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or travelling users access to a central organizational network securely. Windows 8 is a personal computer operating system developed by Microsoft as part of the Windows NT family of operating systems, with an emphasis on improving its user experience on tablets.
