I hope someone can help.
When using Outlook 2013 (click-to-run version) with Google Apps for Business via IMAP on Windows 7 Pro PC's (both 32 & 64 Bit) we are finding data download levels to the client PC are huge.
We have now setup a number of clients with an Outlook2013/Google Apps/Win7Pro config with the result the same for all clients. For example, one small business client (with 3 users) usage has gone from 5GB per month download to almost 6GB per day.
When we monitor the PC thru RESMON we see the Outlook.exe using huge amounts of data. It appears Outlook is re-syncing the entire Google Apps account each time with Outlook, rather than just changes.
In the IMAP settings in Outlook 2013 the "Mail to keep offline" is set to All and all other IMAP settings are per the Google published. It was suggested the antivirus programme may be a cause so this has been removed from all clients.
Really appreciate any help. We have approached Google who report other people are asking this question too but they have no answer.
