Exchange 2010 dag resource wont start

We have an Exchange dag with two members on the same subnet. Everything was fine until I tried to add a 3rd node which happens to be at a branch office several miles away.

I was able to add the node to the existing dag but then received an error saying that it couldn't communicate with the other members.

At that point I added a dag network with the ip range of the branch office.

I then tried to create a copy of our database on the new node but was unsuccessful. I ended up removing the new server from the dag and deleting the network I created.

Now my dag resource will not start.

I have tried rebooting the nodes, forcing the cluster to start, verified that both nodes and the witness share were online, but still cannot get the resource to start.

Email is flowing to and from our servers without issue.

I cannot however ping the resource name or IP address.
