What is a good, yet economical router for a k-8 school network?

Hello Experts,

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good router for a good, fairly inexpensive price?  The school that I work at is on a very tight budget, but exactly how much, I'm not really sure.  They are currently using a Netgear ProSafe FV5318G and the stupid thing overheats a lot causing the internet to go down completely and we are having tons of ip conflicts even though most of our computers are DHCP.  I'm assuming the router is to blame for this especially after reading some reviews that say that the router we are using is known to cause ip problems.  Our internet connection speed is also over 20mbps and this router has also been known to cause slow-downs.  Can anyone recommend a better router for us?

Sonicwall is a good choice. Easily configured with a browser based interface, and can be done from both LAN and WAN as required. The correct model would depend upon what you have on your network, and your needs. If you  elaborate on this I can make a model recommendation.

I would go with Meraki. Easy management with Cisco support.
I guess we should have asked
what exactly you wanted to accomplish
how many end users
do you need VPN to other sites
what other parameters can you provide?
