XenDesktop Citrix profile Server

Hello there,

We will be implementing Citrix Profile Mangement for XD users, I hav imported ADM template and created Group Policy with populating the details for user store which is a shared network drive in file server and folder redirection is all implemented.
My question is what happens if File server is down, that contains user store. And user Logs via external URL to launch XD session, since the Profile Servers is down , will the user be granted temporary profile and then in the XD session, will the folder redirection works, as the group policy is applied to users.

Please advise.

while configuring the CTX-profile-settings my central profile store sometimes not ready created.
the user receive a temporary profile with every session. session settings will be lost.

redirecting to non existent folders should result in "not redirecting"

Sorry I forgot the add the info that:
we are using File Server to store user profiles - fs
and folder redirection to user's home directory which resides in different server.
In this scenario the the folder redirection should work isn't it? as it is applied by GPO, as we have Citrix Profile management group policy and scope are users.
