Remote Control sessions from Windows Server Standard 2008 R2
Good day
We are running Windows Server Standard 2008 R2 with Remote Desktop Services on a Dell PE R520 server (6-core processor, 16GB RAM). We are using HP T5550 Thin Clients with Windows CE6.0. When we try to remote control a session we get a Blue Screen of Death on the server. (See attached file)

I can confirm that none of the above hotfixes have been implemented. We will be implementing the hotfixes one at a time and test. The memory dump will be made available as soon as possible.

Hi,
As per the blue screen error STOP 0x0000003B, the above hotfix should resolve the issue. I believe that you have downloaded the incorrect version of the hotfix which is not compatiable with 2008 R2 64 bit. You just go through this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980932 and when you click "hotfix download">>I accept the agreement>>On the next page click "Show hotfixes for all platforms and languages (3)" , then tick "Windows 7/WindowsServer 2008 R2 x 64bit platform">>Download it and install it on the server.
Usually the BSOD appears if you install any wrong driver or applications, just try to uninstall the driver which you have installed recently ( should be login to safe mode).
I hope this helps.

In addition to above , Even if you uninstall your BackupExec [Backup agent] from your server ,most probably it may fix the issue.
