Hi, i need a bit of advice, i have a samsung 840 pro ssd in my hpz820 running windows 7 64bit enterprise, and it 'feels' slow (compared to my laptop also with an ssd)
using the samsung magician software that comes with it, it brings up an error that ahci is required for optimal use of the ssd. (screenshot attached) - from what i can see windows should be configured correctly for this, and the bios is set to ahci+raid option... so im not sure what is happening...
the write speeds in particular are lower than i have seen from other people with this same ssd using the same benchmark tools
while i realize it will never match the manufacturers stated speeds, i feel it should be faster than this, and should be in line with other peoples benchmarks of the same drive...
(e.g. guru3d did a review, ss attached below: all write speed tests on my ssd are MUCH slower)
i have tried to attach SS of any important information, if i can provide anything else to assist with diagnosis, please let me know!
