Insert Copied Cells into multiple rows

I want to insert a cell that says ENDTRNS into a spreadsheet every third row.  I'm doing an import into quickbooks and I forgot to make this row after each transaction.  Is there a quick way to do this?

Take a look at this, this is a way you can use a filter to just select every third row. Then you could do just a mass copy and paste :) hope this helps!

btw I know they are using an old version of excel, but I checked it on my 2013 version and it seems to still work :)

Thanks for your help.  I also have another file that I need to insert a cell that says ENDTRNS above every row that starts with TRNS.  Is there a way to specify something like that?  There are a varying number of rows between the rows that start with TRNS.
Someone who is an actual excel master will have to answer that one. I attempted to find some information on that, but I came up short :(
