downloading photos from galaxy 3 cell phone to iPad
Hi a friend of mine has an ipad and he would like to sync his wifes photos on her cell phone (galaxy 3 samsung) with the ipad. He asked me because I know lots about technology, however I told him I never did that before so I told him I would look into it for him
The main reason they want to sync them to the ipad is incase the phone gets lost / stolen or the phone dies and info can not be recovered.
So what is the easiest way to do that? I was thinking maybe an app could send the pics to the ipad however I was doing some research online and I found a micro sd card adapter for the ipad. The adapter plugs into the charger port and you can insert a memory card into the adapter.
Would this be the best way to go? I never heard of such an adapter so was looking to see if anyone has any ideas on how it works?
Or would an app (wireless) be better to sync the photos and videos on the galaxy 3 phone? My only concern with wireless is if she wants to download a video it may take a while if it is uploaded rather then downloaded with a memory card because 1 minute = about 100 MB of space.
