Hello,

I Purchased a new MSI Steele Series laptop, and the PSN number is GT70 20C 017US BB74024 G1T0DB8M.

The laptop came with Windows 8, it has 24 GB of RAM, two RAID solid state drives for the boot drive, and a 1TB drive for the data drive.

I upgraded to the Windows 8.1 preview.

I did not make recovery disks.

Last night, I let Windows Update update my laptop. One of the choices was the video card driver, and I told it to update. During the update, the screen went black and never went back to a normal display.

Since I don't have the recovery disks, I have a Windows 8 x64 install DVD, and I thought I could use it to refresh my system while saving the data.

When try to reinstall or rebuild my laptop, Windows 8 tells me that I need additional drivers. Most likely, they are for the RAID so that it can see the drives.

Unfortunately, I cannot find the drivers anywhere on the MSI site. I have a driver and manual disk but the laptop doesn't see anything on it.

Has anyone had experience with this laptop and know how to recover from this problem? I would like to save the data that is on the solid state drives. If you know where I can download the drivers it needs to that I can refresh the system I would sure appreciate the help.
