Hello,

Is there a trick to getting the Excel (2013) Math AutoCorrect to work?

When I go to:

File > Options > Proofing > AutoCorrect Options > AutoCorrect

and have a check mark in the last box (Replace text as you type), each of the "Replace" & "With" pairs work just fine in spreadsheets.

However, even after verifying that the same box (Replace text as you type) under the Math AutoCorrect tab is checkmarked, I cannot get any of the "Replace" & "With" pairs to work. Most of the "Replace" items begin with a backslash (\) but neither those nor the ones without a backslash appear to be working.

I did try changing to another font and also tried creating a custom AutoCorrect pair:

    Replace:  ddd
    With:  ¿

but neither test was successful. Interestingly however, entering that same pair under the first tab was successful.

Thanks
