Windows 7 reimage

I just installed a new hard drive on my HP Nvidia Geforce.  It came with Windows 7 on it.  Therefore, the original operating system did not come on disk where a could put a fresh copy on the new hard drive.  I did a re-image to load the OS on the new hard drive.  It runs EXTREMELY slow.  Any ideas on how I can fix this?  I ran ccleaner and malwarebytes already and there were no issues.

thank you

Put the old disk back in the PC, then use the utility that came with it to create your own recovery DVD's. After that return the new disk back in and use those DVD's you made to get the system to it's factory default state.

PC's that are sold without installation DVD's or factory recovery media, always have a recovery partition on the HD from which you can restore the system back to their factory delivered status. They also always have a tool included which allows you to create one set of factory restore media should the HD die. The buyer should always create those media as one of their first actions, but often they don't realize this, or click away the warning about this and then forget. How exactly the recovery is done, or the media are made, will be explained in the PC's manual or online at the manufacturer's site.
Maybe you could have a look is disk-management

If your disksize differs i would understand windows to suffer from this.
Install updated graphics driver.

Also check in safe mode

Good point, there could be conflicting drivers which will show in system manager.
