outlook & owa cannot connect to exchange2010
hi i recently moved from exchange 2003 to 2010...the migration had a few issues.
exchange information store and other services would not start. after doing a gpupdate it started.
we have 4 servers
1- 2003 dc
2- 2003 exchange 2003
3- 2003 secondary dc
4 - 2008 with exchange 2010
now some outlook clients connect to the new server fine.
others have 2 issues
a- if i create new profile - it works
b - new profile does not work
so for these guys i tried using owa
and i get this error

I assume the following have been configured:
1. The Exchange 2010 server has the following roles installed: Mailbox, Client Access and Hub Transport.
2. On DNS, you have configured an autodiscover record that points to the Exchange 2010 server for Outlook to work.
3. On DNS, you have configured a record for users to access owa etc. e.g. mail.mycompany.com.
4. Valid SSL certificates have been applied to the Exchange server for secure access to OWA,, TLS SMTP etc.
5. Users are using at least Outlook 2003 or preferably Outlook 2007 or 2010. If using Outlook 2003, you need a Public folder database installed on Exchange 2010.
6. Enable legacy.mycompany.com DNS entry to proxy users to older versions of Exchange. The name needs adding to any SSL certificates.
