you could present a NFS datastore to the ESXi server.<br />
<br />
check if there is a datastore //vmfs/volumes on your SD card.

I did the re-install thing using the HP version of ESXi. FC card popped up smiling.<br />

I have downloaded the HP offline bundle hp-esxi5.0uX-bundle-1.4-16<wbr />.zip and put this on a USB stick and even found the command, I think, to load the drivers.<br />
