Outlook 2010 Stuck in Offline Mode
I can't get Outlook 2010 to work in Online mode. Clicking the Work Offline button does nothing. The computer is connected to the internet ok but Outlook refuses to work online.
It seems this is fairly common problem but I can't find a solution that works.
Any suggestions?

No, this account has been running for years using the company's own domain as it's email. However, they don't use exchange and the few other computers they have are all able to receive and send email as normal.
The only AV installed is MS Security Essentials and that doesn't seem to be the problem.
I have tried starting using outlook.exe /safe but things are just the same.
I have also used scanpst.exe to check the .pst file for errors but it was fine.

Found solution myself
Is it setup to connect to Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, Exchange ect ect?
Has outlook ever worked before? Or are you trying to set it up for the first time?
How long ago did it stop working?
Had anything changed?
i.e Upgraded Office/Outlook, Installed new applications, change Email Providors
If you close outlook and startup using
Start>Run>outlook.exe /safe
does it act any different?
Do you have AV Installed on the computer?
Have you tried disabling it, then trying to open outlook
