I presume you don't have a full backup of server, right?<br />

While in safe mode, you can try the following:<br />
1. Copy the VHD file of your new virtual machine for a backup<br />
2. Remove the Hyper-V role<br />
<br />
Hopefully, it will reboot if the problem is with the Hyper-V role. Then I will run some hardware checks.

Came to work and our new server (Server 2012 Std.) was frozen. Had to hold the power button to shutdown. When powered back on it booted to a blue repair screen and went to 100%. I let it stay there for 30 minutes. It never rebooted itself, like it stated it would. There was a comment on the screen to search Microsoft online for the error causing the issue which was &quot;Hypervisor Error&quot;. <br />
