Server 2012 Standard boots in safe mode but boot loops and crashed in normal startup
Came to work and our new server (Server 2012 Std.) was frozen. Had to hold the power button to shutdown. When powered back on it booted to a blue repair screen and went to 100%. I let it stay there for 30 minutes. It never rebooted itself, like it stated it would. There was a comment on the screen to search Microsoft online for the error causing the issue which was "Hypervisor Error".
I installed Hyper-V on Friday along with a Server 2008R2 VM. It installed seemingly without issues.
I can boot into safe mode with networking OK but can not boot ino Windows normally or using Last known good configuration. Start up repair does not work either.

Bios update fixed issue
While in safe mode, you can try the following:
1. Copy the VHD file of your new virtual machine for a backup
2. Remove the Hyper-V role
Hopefully, it will reboot if the problem is with the Hyper-V role. Then I will run some hardware checks.
