Printer installation error using TCP/IP Port

I tried to install HP CP3505 color printer using Standard TCP/IP Port.  When I click on finish, I get an error "Unable to Install Printer.  The print processor does not exist."  So, I tried to remove the existing driver from Print Server Properties, but got another error, "Unable to remove HP CP3505 driver.  The specified printer driver is currently in use."

I thought the print driver got damaged, so I downloaded it from HP site and tired it again.  The result was the same.

Does anybody know why I can't install the printer and how to resolve this error?  My machine is XP Sp3.  Thank you very much in advance.  HB

Thank you for your quick response.  I downloaded and tried to install exe file.  But I got an error.  It says, "Setup had detected that the Service Pack version of this system is newer than the update you are applying.  There is no need to install this update."  Any idea?  Thank you.

I stopped service, backed up problem machine, copied files to the specified folder from working machine and started service.  Same result.  I am not sure what else I can do.  Thank you for your suggestions.

So you were able to successfully install that very same driver on a windows box spy as well? Can you post the name of the driver file? Is your box 64 or 32 bits?

Thank you to everybody.  I followed the instruction from web_tracker, but I could not delete the driver.  Instead of "Remove", I tried "Replace" and rebooted the machine.  When it came back, I tried to delete the driver.  Somehow, it worked.  I could delete it.  Now, the printer is installed fine.

I appreciate everybody's time and suggestions.  Problem solved.  Thank you.
