How do I extract the first instance of a number from the right side of a string

eg.  "the sum of 60 pieces plus 60 pieces is 120 pieces"

I'm interested in getting the value "120" from the string, but only if the number 120 is surrounded by blank spaces, if the value is "120+"  or "120mm" I don't want to extract it.
