Backup Exc 12/Server 2003 - Failed job. VFF Driver.
I'm attempting to back up the information store to a backup to disk folder on my server, this fails with the following error:
Final Error 0xe0001201. For this operation, the backup Exec Virtual File Filter (VFF) must be installed on the media server.
The job fails immediately once it's started.
No other data is being backup up by this job and the information store is on another server that has the remote agent installed. I can backup file and folders but the exchange environment is not playing ball.

It's a pysical machine. I've re-installed the BE agent on the server but it failed again.
The license keys on the media server show two accepted keys: one for server 2003 and the other for exchange remote agent. How would I know if its in evaluation mode considering the keys appear to be accepted?

What is the Status of Writers on the Server ?
As i see the Agents from Master to Slave are wokring fine ..... what needs to be checked is if something additional is required ti be installed

I had to re-install BE.

The agent is installed and surely if it was in evaluation mode it would not backup other files and folders, etc?
This is not a SBS server, I'm running 2003 R2.
