&nbsp; i was working with server 2012 , before installing active directory, i have configure the ip credentials, for my system as 192.168.1.100/24 and dns as 192.168.1.100 because i am installing dns and ad in the same system, but after the installation of ad my dns address is being changed to 127.0.0.1, is there any wrong i am doing or is there any reason why it changes to 127.0.0.1, <br />

2. in previous versions of server like 2003,2008 to install ad we use the command dcpromo but when it comes to server 2012 we have to install through install the roles is there any specific reason, at you convinence kindly help me the answer.<br />
