troubleshooting Question

SQL 2008 :SQL 2008 standard cluster one on a physical and one on a VM? Is this possible?

SQL 2008 standard cluster one on a physical and one on a VM? Is this possible?

Due to some constrains I will not go into here

I am designing a SQL environment that is the primary servers is physical and the passive side of the cluster is a VM ,

I know the amount of ram needs to match ,so I have mirrored the memory on the physical server to bring it down from 64GB to  32GB ram .

Both of the OS’es are 2008 R2
