Xenserver 6.1 tools errors

Hello,

We upgraded to xenserver 6.1 this weekend and applied patches 9 and 10 for 6.1 however we are having issues with VM's that are server 2008 R2 that run VSS from storagecraft.  Our exchange server started upgrading the tools and then went to blue screen on the restart and we had to set the platform:device_id=0001.  after it came backup it never finished installing the tools just sat on the install window for over 40 mins before we finally killed it. server is running fine but xencenter says the tools are not installed.  If we try to install the tools again the server ask us to remove the installed tools first.   Out webserver did the same thing but it installed the service on the vm and is reporting back to xencenter, but the service listed itself as disabled and has been stuck in a stopping state since it was turned on two days ago.  And finally our primary DC also BSOD recovered and actually finished the install of the tools, but now it will only run on one of the host machines.  It fails to migrate or start on any of the others.   The other 16 Vm's all seem to be working fine.   Any help you can provide would be great.

thank you

anyone know if these problems are fixed in 6.2?  Didn't want to upgrade to it since it just came out but now i am starting to wonder if it is a better option.
You mentioned you got an unrecoverable bluescreen on one of the devices.  Were you able to take a snapshot prior to attempting this?  And do you think that if you were able to you would still be able to recover from the snapshot?  Just really worried since on them is our exchange server.
I did a full copy of the disk ... I lost my faith in Xen...

Haven't done a lot with 6.2 (only 1 host and 2 Windows machines updated yet) . The 6.2 tools use the same install mechanism as 6.1...

I believe part of the problem is the change of the installation method, another part the overall quality of the tools...
