Cannot access shared folders on Win2008R2 server from domain Win7Pro workstations

I have a new Win2008R2 Enterprise server on which I have set up a shared folder. The folder's permissions include full access for Everyone. Full Security access has be allowed for members of an AD Group. Members of that group can access the folder from within an RDP session on the server, but cannot access from their workstations using either \\servername\sharedfolder or \\ipaddress\sharedfolder in Computer.

As an domain admin, I cannot access from my workstation either, nor can I access \\servername\c$ from my workstation.

make sure that you have also configured correct share permissions - Click on start > Administrative Tools > Computer management > System Tools > Shared Folders > Shares > right click on a share and select properties> select sharing tab and make sure to have correct group with correct permissions.
Also post the error message that you get or screenshot if possible.
