Issue with Mailbox sharing permissions - Exchange 2010 & Outlook 2010
Hi guys,
I'm trying to open or have access to another user's entire Mailbox in exchange 2010. I tried different ways of giving myself full access on the other Email account.
1. I set myself owner permissions in the entire Mailbox of the girl in her outlook 2007 by right clicking and going on the Sharing permissions.
2. I used the delegate option for give myself owner permissions on folders like Inbox, calendar, task, etc.
3. I tried the Manage Full Access Permissions in the Exchange server
All of this works fine when setting these different scenarios. The problem is that when I tried to add or open either her entire mailbox or each folder like the Inbox in my outlook account in my workstation..... I click in her account once added but I don't see anything!!!! I just see a message "There are no items to show in this view".
I found out that if after giving myself permissions to the her entire Mailbox I have to give myself permissions to each and every single folder underneath her entire Mailbox!! Her Inbox folder has a lot of sub-folders and I have to give myself permissions on these ones too!! I can't go one by one setting myself with rights!!! I though that by giving myself permissions on the entire Mailbox I would be able to see every single folder and sub-folder!
Do you have any idea why is doing this? Is there a way to give myself rights to her entire Mailbox and add it to my account and see everything?
Thanks for the help guys!
