I have relativly large web-based application that is coded in ASP.NET. The application uses a server-based DLL to allow the user to print (or output) ASP data forms to a pre-formatted PDF. It's actually works well and fairly easy to use. There are very few formatting issues for users - it just works.
The downfall is that it's not that flexible and cumbersome to code.
I would like to investigate the possibility of having the user directly edit the PDF, save the data to the DB, and be able to print. Also, they would be to recall the data via the PDF as well.
I've done a little research and there doesn't seem to be much support 'out there' for this type of application. Just wondering if anyone can give me some recommendations or point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
E.D.
