Active Directory Sites Configuration
When windows domain is within one site, do we need to create the site in AD Sites and Services , and do we need to associate all the subnets to the site or just one of the subnet ?
example : one site can have multiple subnets:
10.10.10.x
10.10.20.x
192.168.10.x
192.168.20.x
in multiple sites , I believe we ll have manually to create all the subnets, but i am not sure which subnet should be associate to each site
any help will be appreciated
thanks

10.10.10.0/24 would only indicate the addresses from 1-254
10.10.10.0/23 would indicate 512 addresses from 10.1-11.254
10.10.10.0/22 would indicate 1028 addresses from 10.1-13.254
You pick wich subnet and assign it to the default site if you only have one.

The clients in the domain will be in 10.x.x.x and 192.x.x.x subnets
it is going to be one AD site.
So do I need to associate the subnets with that one site ? if so the How?

In the case if I need just one AD site, but using the 10 and 192 networks.
would that one site figure it out automatically, or I still need to add the networks(10 and 192) to the site.

Jailhunt.
if I want to use 10.10.10.0/22 for instance , then I can just create or use the default first site name, create a subnet 10.10.10.0/22 and associate the site to the subnet.
but if I have 10.10.10.0/22 and 192.168.1.0/23, how can I associate the default first site to both 10.10.0/22 and 192.168.1.0/23 ?
would AD Sites and Services allow you to associate both the networks(10 and 192) mentioned above to the default first site at same time?
thanks
