Norton 360
Just lately I have been having problems getting Norton360 to show the spam toolbar in Outlook 2003
So I contacted Norton support and was told N360 would not work
because, the operating system is 64 bit which is not supported by antispam.
They said, we will be releasing a patch to make the Antispam compatible with 64 bit platforms.
I asked Do you know when this will be please?
The answer was It's still under development.
All this seems strange because it was working previously but not now.
Has anyone any further information on this please?
Many thanks

Enable all norton addins in outlook should fix the issue. Restart outlook after enabling all addins in outlook
http://office.microsoft.com/en-in/outlook-help/enable-or-disable-add-ins-in-office-programs-HA010034127.aspx
For Norton 360: Under Detailed Settings, click AntiSpam. On the Client Integration tab, under Email Clients, click the status indicator next to Outlook or Outlook Express to turn it On.

Hello sorry for the delay.
I am using Outlook 2003.
I found Norton Antispam Outlook Plugin in COM Add-ins
If I tick the box and then OK the tick is lost if reopened.
Unfortunately the first link does not refer to 2003
The setup recommended in the second link is already set that way.
I had contact with Norton support
This was the result

10:30 Dhirendra Swar: John, was the antispam toolbar visible on this computer prior to this?
10:31 Dhirendra Swar: Because, the operating system is 64 bit which is not supported by antispam.
10:32 John: +No I also never get the Anti Spam warning and they are placed in Junk email
10:32 John: Sorry I meant yes the antispam bar seemed to work OK before
10:33 Dhirendra Swar: Okay.
10:33 John: So the antispam will not work on 64 bit?
10:34 John: Is there a way round this?
10:34 Dhirendra Swar: Yes, the Antispam is does not support the 64 bit OS. We will be releasing a patch to make the Antispam sompatible with 64 bit platforms.
10:35 John: Do you know when this will be please?
10:37 Dhirendra Swar: It's still in inder development, please refer the Norton forums to check the probable date of the release of this patch. It has all teh required information regrading this problem and the patch that we are due to release.
10:38 John: Can you please give me a url?
10:39 Dhirendra Swar has sent a link: community.norton.com
So I guess thats that!

John
