Stop router entries

We have a Verizon A90-9100EM15-10 wireless router.  Periodically I go in and remove u-torrent and various other entries from the port forwarding section.  Others including Skype, etc.

Is there a way to prevent this from automatically being created?

Sound like you have uPnP enabled on the router. Disabling it will stop them from automatically adding port forwarding entries.

Under Universal Plug and Play there are only two checkboxes...

Allow Other Network Users to Control Wireless Broadband Router's Network Features
and
Enable Automatic Cleanup of Old Unused UPnP Services

Nothing about disabling
Unckeck the first one to disable in that case.

The option "Enable automatic cleanup of Old and Unsed UPnP Services" is the best you can do with your router by the looks of it. (http://screenshots.portforward.com/routers/Westell/A90-9100EM15-10/)

Thanks.
As stated... the router cannot have UPnp disabled.
